The mug is printed as a receipt from the “Exit Liquidity Department”: a stripe at the top, an itemised list in the middle, and a total that is not in your favour.
Read it at a desk and it looks like paperwork. Read it again and it says EARLY: NO / LIQUIDITY: YES / BAG: YOURS. The last line lands the joke: You’re not early. You’re the liquidity.
11 oz of ceramic, dishwasher-safe, and quiet enough to sit in an office where nobody knows what a memecoin is.
“Exit liquidity” started as a market-structure term: the buyers whose orders let earlier holders sell without moving the price down. Crypto traders turned it into social slang around 2021–22, when memecoins and NFT mints made it obvious who was providing the exit.
It stayed in the vocabulary through the 2024–26 memecoin era because the pattern kept repeating: a token trends, a crowd buys, the earlier wallets sell into that crowd. Being called “exit liquidity” is the standard verdict on arriving last. We printed it as a receipt because that is what it is.
